I'm considering installing OS X on my gaming computer so I can complete some resource heavy tasks (like after effects or logic) that my MacBook can't handle. I have three partitions: Windows, Ubuntu, and file storage. I'm willing to format the Ubuntu partition, but only if I can install it.
- Can I install OS X in a previously created partition or do I have to wipe the drive clean?
- Also, if I make the changes to the BIOS, will it mess up anything Windows needs to boot?
