Hey all. I'm getting ready to build a hackintosh and I'm using the Tonymac November guide for my build. I'm building one because my Macbook Pro just doesn't have enough power to do some of the stuff I want to do. I do a lot of heavy video editing/capturing and I teach game development/3d work via screen casts. The programs I'll use most often are:

  • Unity 3d

  • Blender

  • Camtasia (recording in 1080)

  • Photoshop

  • Illustrator

  • Sculptris/Zbrush

and I may also delve into audio editing and creating custom audio tracks. Below is the list of parts I plan on using, if you could let me know if this would be good for what I need or if there are better/more efficient things I can spend my money on in regards to parts.
