I have a Windows computer which I built for the purpose of video editing. Because I need quad-core support AND a fancy video card AND a crap-ton of RAM and tons of hard drive space, I decided to go with a Windows-based solution.

But one of the smart things I did was to install a swappable HD bay, so I can stick an new internal drive in there any time I want. I was thinking about trying to install OSX to a new drive on that drive bay to test compatibility. (telling the BIOS to boot to the swappable drive.) The enclosure connects directly to the MOBO SATA drive, so it's a direct link - just like any other internatl drive.

If that works, I can buy an SSD, install that, and keep OSX there, choosing which OS I want to boot into by switching which HD gets priority in the boot order from the BIOS.

How would you go about doing so? My big issues are video/audio compatibility and being able to take full advantage of my video card.
