Everything but the MB arrived Friday, so I removed my Core2Duo build from 2007/2008 from my good case, and put the Core2Duo guts in the P4's old case over the weekend. Poor P4 from 2003 is now homeless!

Yesterday I installed the new P/S and familiarized myself with how to assemble the heatsink.

MB came this morning and it took 4-5 hours to get the machine put together and OS X running right.

Biggest hurdle was my Yosemite boot key was refusing to boot with my machine as an iMac -- apparently it wanted to see MacBooPro5,1 which is what I had originally acquired the Yosemite installer on.

Complicating matters was changing the config.plist on the installer drive to MacBookPro wasn't enough for some reason, I also had to enter it in Clover Options every boot.

TonyMac's Instructions said to boot again into the installer after it reboots the first time, but that just started the installer again. Finally just booted into the new Yosemite OS, and that worked.

Clover failed to install on my hard drive, but that was because I had booted into safe mode.

Only needed -x -v kext-dev-mode=1 as boot args, but I did only install 1 stick of RAM!

kexts are the latest AppleIntelE1000e.kext and FakeSMC.kext. I've got a BCM94360 PCIe 1x card to handle WiFi and BT4. Sound via USB.
