I've never done M.2 before in Hackintosh or otherwise, so I'm new to any problems it might have in or out of this situation. I'm hoping to put two of these amazing drives in my build (though maybe just one to start?)

I was thinking of just going for AHCI for both drives for maximum compatibility since I don't know much about it.

I'm hoping to use the drive as my main install, but also considering booting off of it.

I've read in some threads that it is better to install OSX on a completely different drive than Windows 10. I'm assuming that doesn't just mean a different partition. Why is that?

Also, not really related to the main question, but I might as well piggyback: is installing windows on a hackintosh the same as installing it on a normal macintosh? (bootcamp) Or is there a different special method?

Mobo is going to be GA-Z170X-Gaming 5 (rev. 1.0)
