Fresh install of Clover and 10.8.x - everything (well, i guess not EVERYTHING, or i wouldn't be posting) is working well. WiFi works, app store no problems, speed on FW and on-board USB3 seems great - much better install in my mind than the one I did with multibeast.... None of the issues I thought i'd have. 2 little things tho-
1) I use the Generic USB 3 kext found here for my usb3 add-on cards. It works when I put it in the kexts folder, reboot with no cache/kexts injected option- boom easy peasy works. Whenever i reboot, however, without chosing that option at the clover boot screen, its like its not there - doesnt work. I've tried putting it in s/l/e as well as on my efi disk - same results. How do i get this to work without chosing that option everytime?? This is only a minor annoyance - but i would like a system that is as painless to boot as possible.
2) Audio. It was working for a while (I should say the from headphone port on my case) and then at some point in the numerous reboots and small testing, it stopped? I dont have any idea when, but i have added very little thus far that would throw a conflict (that i know of). I dont see any options in my System Prefs for sound output other than AirPlay. What the hell??
