Hey guys, I have an MSI-GE70-20E-017US (Intel 4700mq, HD 4600, GTX 765M) that I would like to give another shot with OS X. I'm definitely not new to the hackintosh community, but I haven't messed around with OS X for awhile. I've managed to get Mountain Lion working on the laptop with a patched kernel with everything working except the HD 4600 and the GTX 765M, which I don't really need working anyway. Anyways, I'm wondering where Mavericks is at with mobile Haswell support. I've installed Mavericks on my desktop, and I tried throwing the installation USB on my laptop, but the kernel doesn't seem to work (instant reboot). I've come across a few threads, and it seems like a few people were able to get Haswell laptops working with Mountain Lion now (including Iris support), but I'm really interested in kernel patches for Mavericks adding support for mobile Haswell processors. So the question I have now is does anybody know if the Mavericks kernel can be patched with the same (or similar) diffs as the Mountain Lion kernel?
