Hey.
Here's what I have in mind:
Intel i5-2500K (I will overclock and chose this over the Ivy and Haswells because lower temps, higher clocks and lower price)
Sapphire HD7950 OC Edition (Already have this sitting in my room. I've read that its compatible with all OS Xs since and including 10.8.3)
8GB Corsair XMS3 1333MHz RAM (Have it)
22" LG 1920x1080 Screen (Got it)
Antec HCG 750W PSU (got it)
What I don't have is a motherboard.
I've been tossing up between two:
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H (AUD$180)
MSI Z77A-GD65 (AUD$180)
MSI Z77 MPOWER (AUD$189)
I understand that the general consensus is that Gigabyte motherboards are the best to go with due to their default compatibility with OS X but I'm still having a hard time deciding whether it'll meet my needs.
Here's what I'll run on the mobo:
i5-2500k OCed
HD7950 OCed
8GB 1333MHz RAM
1 or 2 SSDs
2 or 3 HDDs
USB / Wireless Mouse
PS/2 Keyboard
Windows 8
Mac OS X
Battlefield 3 /4
Which of the mentioned Mobos would be the best?
All of them have been used by other people to successfully run a Hackintosh.
Please feel free to make other suggestions.
Thanks for the help.
