For a while now I've been having a problem where my Hackintosh's screen will freeze. The fans keeps running, and the graphics card keeps outputting a signal. Nothing responds to input, and all sound stops. I have to press the reset button to restart the computer, and everything works fine. This happens in many different situations, from playing games to just using the desktop. The problem has occurred before, but it started increasing in frequency lately. It used to be once every 2-3 weeks, now it is once every 4-5 days.
I had a similar problem previously, and it turned out I had a bad RAM module. I got one replaced, and it stopped. I am having the same problem with similar symptoms, so I thought it might be a RAM issues. I ran MemtestOSX 9 times, and everything was perfect.
I realize this is probably not enough information to diagnose the problem, so what should I try next?
