Finally - after research...I was able to figure out how to (safely) achieve maximum OC settings on my air-cooled hack.
- 4670K
- GA-Z87N-wifi
- 4.5GHZ
- 1.26 vcore
- everything else on "auto" (bios)
- Hyper 212 EVO
- ambient temps of around 26C
- 2 noctua 120mm fans - one rear, one side
- Zalman Z9+ case
- iMac 14,2 smbios
