Basically, I just want to use OS X for everything except gaming (other than the games it can in fact run). I already have a gaming machine and have had it for a year, I'm just curious as to how I should go about doing this and whether or not my hardware is compatible.
My specs are as follows:
CPU: i5-3570K @ 3.4Ghz (stock)
Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G43
Graphics card: Gigabyte HD 7950 Boost @ 900Mhz Base & 1250 Mhz Memory
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600Mhz
Am I able to run Mavericks on this machine? I am able to purchase another HDD to be used solely for OS X if that would be best.
