I'm planning on getting a mATX Z97 motherboard and Hackintosh compatibility, while not first on my list, is important to me. I know Z97 will not be supported initially but later on I would like to have the best possible OS X compatibility.

I'm tossing up between Gigabyte and Asus' offerings - Gigabyte have the reputation as very good with OS X (CPU power management and sleep mode) but the LAN and audio on the Asus motherboard look to be more compatible with OS X. Gigabyte use Killer e2200 LAN and ALC1150 audio and Asus use Intel I218V and ALC892.

Basically, the Asus is my preferred motherboard but if there have been problems with Asus previously that are likely to come back I'll go for the Gigabyte. I know that this is mostly speculative but I'm asking for advice based on previous generations of chipsets.
