So I've been running this rig for almost a year now, upgraded to Mavericks a few months back without too much trouble. Everything works flawlessly on it, except since I updated to Mavericks the CPU is running at a low clock speed. I've got a 3.2Ghz i7-3930k, but OSX is seeing is as a 1.2Ghz 'Unknown'.

I'm more concerned that it seems to be running at 1.2Ghz (It's using all cores though), rather than it not being seen as an i7. I've confirmed this with Geekbench. When I was using Mountain Lion and a 780, my score was 18696. However now, even with a more powerful GPU, it's dropped to a lowly 6644 score. Even Geekbench sees the CPU as only 1.2GHz. This issue isn't present in my windows partition (Geekbench scores about 18000 on there).

Here are my specs:

Mobo - GA X79S-UP5 CPU - i7-3930k 3.2Ghz Graphics - EVGA GTX 780Ti Other Hardware - 3x Samsung 840 Pro 128GB (2 in Software RAID for Mac boot drive)

I followed this tutorial mostly (Obviously had to change things a bit for Mavericks, RAID, Dual booting with windows and the 780Ti). Can anybody suggest anything I can try to get the CPU recognised properly? It's really problematic for a video editing rig as encoding takes bloody hours.
