G'day all,
DISCLAIMER: This will be long as I will be using this post as a repository and hopefully a step-by-step guide for myself in creating a Hackintosh.
There is only one Objective:
- Install a working version of Hackintosh that allows for Dual Booting (1x 1TB HDD on Win8.1, and 1x 120GB SSD for OSX)
BUILD INFO PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
Pre-installation
I initially thought of going with Multibeast because it looked like the easiest install to do, however, having heard issues with iMessage as well as dual-booting to a PC, I decided against it and went straight for Clover. Clover has, by a lot of accounts, a lot going for it, particularly in the Dual-Booting department as well as other little things like iMessage. Hence, this personal guide is based on that.
Install an OSX 10.9 bootable USB drive using Tonymacx86 Clover guide
Prepared a bootable USB version of Win 8.1 to install at a later stage after compiling the parts.

INSTALLATION TBC When parts come in
POST-INSTALLATION TBC (Issues, what works, what doesn't, what can be done better)
Questions so far: I will link the answers to each question as they get answered and strike them through.
- What in the world is a DSDT.aml and SSDT.aml? Current reports have told me that it is a data distribution table that can stabilise your hackintosh. Still no idea how to get it or what it means.
