I installed Mavericks 10.9.3 on a Dell XPS 420, but am running into a strange issue with an nVidia GeForce 560Ti 260gtx and 9800.
The only way to boot is to remove all the NVDA related kexts from /S/L/E and add GraphicsEnabler=No to the boot options.
In the process of tinkering, I got the system to boot up with the nVidia web kexts with nvda_drv=1 and PCIRootUID=4. I noticed in the startup log that immediately after the portion mentioning my PCIRoot it showed the full description and information of my video card. Now, every time I boot it shows Intel LAN adapter instead and the issue with the screen going to sleep after bootup has returned.
I've tried using every combination of GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No (after moving kexts and fixing permissions) PCIRootUID=0,1,2,3,4,5 -v -F
At first I thought perhaps it was an issue with the DSDT I'm using (necessary to view the internal SATA drives on this pc) or the installer USB (I recreated it with a fresh install and Unibeast)
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
