Hey guys, I have a few questions, hopefully someone has some knowledge here. It's a lot of questions, if you only want to answer one or two, please do! Thank you all for your help in advance!
1) I read SLI does not work, the cards are viewed seperately. This is fine with me, I'm not using the mac portion for video editing or gaming. But can I still leave both of my 570's plugged in and the sli cable attached? I'd like to still SLI when I boot into Windows.
2) Does dual-monitor work? Should both monitors be on one Video card, or should they be on separate ones?
3) If possible, I'd like to retain my current Windows install. I'd be ordering a new SSD to install OS X on. Will this work? I'm assuming I should be able to unplug every hard drive except the new SSD, and install. From there I believe there's a boot loader that will allow me to switch between OS X and Windows?
4) I'm considering getting another new SSD for an Ubuntu install, how does this factor in to my hackintosh? Do the same thing, remove everything but ubuntu SSD, install and go? I saw some guides on tripple booting, if I have to wipe my windows drive I will, but to recap it's basically OS X > Windows > Ubuntu for install order?
5) Storage. I want to store all of my pictures/music/movies/tv shows on one HD that would hopefully be accessible to all of my operating systems. What file format should this drive be? It will not have any OS on it, just my media.
6) Does anyone see any parts here that you know will NOT work? If someone has experience with a part listed that does work, please let me know:
