Specs:
Alienware M15x Intel Core i7-740qm (Gen 1) ATI Radeon Mobility HD 5450 (Displayed at ATI Radeon HD 5000 1024MB in "About This Mac" 10.9.0 Niresh install with Chameleon Standard Bootloader
10.9.0 has always worked fine, after install I just have to use "PciRoot=1" to get it to boot. When I install 10.9.4 (tried app store and manual install), it does boot up, but it's a black screen. I know it is actually booting because when it logs into steam, my other laptop says something about 'Connected to Dan's Mac Book Pro for in home streaming' or something like that. I have to boot up in single user mode and use the command line to 'backup' all grafix kexts. It boots perfectly fine then except for the fact that it's super low resolution. Every ATI kext I've found that I tried installing just brings my computer to the black screen.
How can I get the video drivers to install correctly? I've been stuck on this for a week now, and I can't seem to find the answer anywhere!
