My OSX 10.9.3 build has been working perfectly for the last three weeks since I did a clean reinstall updating from 10.8. Today I booted up the machine as normal, selected by OSX drive at the boot loader screen, and after the grey boot screen with the apple logo, it loads to a black screen with my pointer replaced by the spinning beach ball of death. I can move the ball around with the mouse but it just hangs forever. I was using this machine last night for hours with no issues...

I tried booting verbose and it leads me to the same spinning beach ball after all the command line cycles through. When I boot via my Unibeast USB, I can get right in (I'm posting from it right now). I've verified and repaired disk permissions to no avail.

Specs:

10.9.3 Gigabyte Z68-UD3H-BH3 v12 i5 2500 GeForce 660ti TonyMac Unibeast / Multibeast install using DDST for my MOBO

Anyone have any suggestions? At first I thought it could be a SSD failure, but it runs perfectly when launched from the Unibeast USB.
