I guess it is my turn to ask you to take a look at my plan before I lock everything in. This will be the first time that I have built a computer, let alone a Hackintosh. I will be using this computer mainly for audio work. I figured that I could use on board graphics since I don't have a large graphic demand in my work. I use Logic, ProTools and Audition. I went with the single 8GB of RAM to give me the most room for expandability later. I don't plan on overclocking yet, but since Microcenter has such a good deal on the 4770k right now I am thinking of going that direction to allow me to overclock later. Also, I have an old Digi 002 rack that I would like to run so I will need a firewire card in addition to what I have listed. Please let me know what you think or any ways that I could shave off a little money without taking away from performance.
