Hey folks-
I finally managed to get OS X Mavericks on my older rig with an i5 750, GA-P55M-UD2, and Raedon HD 5450. Graphics aren't working right, and I'm having a host of USB problems. I've spent a few days trying to figure this stuff out and I'm really getting nowhere.
A lot of my research is leading me to believe I am just using hardware that is a bit too old. That combined with my limited knowledge of this sort of stuff is making my project a headache.
My question is: is Hackintoshing easier with new hardware? Do the integrated graphics on the Haswell CPUs work? If I put together a basic build using Haswell, would I have a better time or is it the same game even with current generation hardware?
