I running a new build, using an i7 + GA-Z87X-UD3H. I have a Microsoft Curve 4000 plugged in to one of the USB 3.0 ports on the backplate. When the computer boots, I can use the arrow keys to select my boot option. When I reach the log in screen, I can type my password. Once I log in though, all keypresses are ignored. Plugging in a simple hp keyboard works, which is what I'm typing on now.

System info shows the keyboard is detected. I've tried both with and without official microsoft drivers.

What weirds me out is that at one point I was able to type on this keyboard with this hardware, I think when i was booted via the installer USb. So I know the hardware works. I don't much care about the fancy buttons, I just want to be able to type and use the function keys.

I'm guessing it's most likely a kext issue. Does anyone have any tips?
