I'm currently running 10.9.4 on: EVGA X58 132-BL-E758-TR
Intel Core i7 920
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670
I just put it together yesterday with the current MultiBeast, yadda yadda, and a custom DSDT just for audio (everything worked vanilla except audio, hence the DSDT requirement.) Sleep does not work. It goes to sleepy land, but it's a one-way trip and you have to reboot it. Not optimal. I'd like to keep the machine running instead of shutting down all the time.
So, this board is getting old and it's time to replace the core parts: CPU, motherboard, RAM. I'm eyeballing the 4.0 GHz Core i7 and getting an appropriate mb for it. How's sleep support specifically nowadays? I'm usually a "real Mac" guy, but I'm not buying one until the next major revision of the iMac 27" comes out. This'll do in the meantime. I really miss proper power management.
