I have a SSD where 10.9.4 is installed and I'm getting 1:45 until I can see my desktop, and another 0:25 before it becomes useable. Not the end of the world, but definitely an annoying inconvenience for such a nice setup (imo). I have Windows 8.1 on another SSD and it boots up in about 7 seconds.
So what are your boot times? Am I missing something key that would help remedy this? Any insight is appreciated.
