CPU: Phenom II 955 X4

GPU: HD 6850

MOBO: ASUS M5A97 Pro

RAM: Kingston 2x2GB

HDD: Single 160GB one

Kexts I've used: (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/304-replace-mav-kext-for-amd/)

Kernel: Bronya AMD 10.9.4 rc2 (http://www.hackintoshosx.com/files/file/4202-mach-kernel-10-9-4-rc2-for-amd/)

I installed OS X 10.9.0 on my AMD machine a few days ago (Niresh, it's the only thing I could get working). Pretty much everything ran flawlessly, including sound, ethernet, and graphics acceleration. QE/CI and all that, hell I could play TF2 at a decent framerate. I attempted to update the OS yesterday since a ton of shit requires it, and according to the guides I've found, it's possible and it works. All you have to do is replace a few kexts before rebooting, and use a custom kernel. So I went ahead and installed 10.9.4 (.5 made it unbootable no matter what I did, so I wiped everything and used .4 instead), replaced all the necessary kexts, used an updated AMD kernel, etc, then rebooted to finish the update.

Now here's the problem. If I try to boot with any combination of options that DOESN'T include safe mode, the OS boots to a blank gray screen with a cursor and stops loading (no HDD activity whatsoever, no amount of waiting or mashing the keyboard helps).

Not my image, but it's the same exact problem. Sometimes it's the spinning wheel, sometimes the regular cursor, but everything just stops there. This is AFTER the Apple logo and the boot process.

OS X only boots in safe mode (-x), and doing so pretty much kills the graphics. No acceleration/transparency/effects whatsoever, and graphics artifacts/vsync issues all over the place. I've tried every possible boot flag or configuration I could find, to no avail. Here's a screencap of my whole boot.plist in case it's useful.

"kernel_two" is what I renamed the new kernel to and GraphicsEnabler is disabled, "Yes" just turns off my monitor (both before and after the update). I'm new to hackintoshing, but from what I could gather, it's an issue with some kexts messing up the system and making it unbootable, most likely the ones related to the graphics.

Any, and I mean ANY ideas would be welcome, this thing is driving me crazy. I have the installer written to a USB stick in my hand right now, and a secondary machine I can use.
