Doing some digging on getting an OSX VM up on a PC host. Obviously native VMware is compliant with Apple's {opinionated comments remove} restrictions, but apparently can be modified to run them anyways. Does anyone know what specific modifications are being done? I need to maintain what I call a 'trusted environment' which means legit software, no arbitrary code used on the system, etc. Kinda rules out a 'here just download and run this as administrator' fix to my problem.
At the very least, i'd like to understand the technical specifics.. even better audit the modifications, and better yet just make them myself. Would be happy to share results if I end up pointed down the right path. TIA!
