Hi,
I'm trying to install OS X Yosemite on my PC. I'm using the Unibeast / Multibeast method. I've done the following so far:
- Removed all files from an 8GB SanDisk USB drive
- Formatted it for Master Boot Record, 1 partition, Mac OS X Extended Journaled
- Used Unibeast to get Yosemite on it (I did this from my MacBook Air, 2010)
- Put Multibeast on it after Unibeast got Yosemite on it
- Loaded optimized defaults formy BIOS
- Inserted the USB drive to the PC
- Restarted while holding F11
- Selected "SanDisk", then "USB"
This is where I'm stuck at:
- The screen goes black for a few seconds
- It then shows the grey screen with dark grey Apple logo (startup screen) for like 0.5 seconds
- The screen goes black again
- I see the BIOS logo
- I get to the Windows login screen
I've tried using -v, it seems to load everything but still fails. -x doesn't work either.
Does this issue stem from the fact that Windows is installed on my computer already? When I get to the thing where I choose "USB" (the Chimera boot screen), it does not look like this. instead, it has "USB", but then two Windows logos that say "Reserved for System" and "NFTS Filesystem" or something.
