[GUIDE] Yosemite on Samsung 700t

Here is my kind-of-unfinished, not so great tutorial to getting Yosemite on the Samsung 700t


Working:



  • Keyboard & Mouse (No scroll, also freezes input for ~2 seconds very often)

  • Touch & Pen

  • Cameras

  • Sound (+Fn keys, and volume buttons on the side)

  • Brightness (+Fn keys)

  • WiFi (After Replacing WiFi Card)

  • Battery


Not Working:



  • Microphone

  • SIM card (Not tested)

  • Home Button

  • Rotation


Requirements:



  • USB for installation

  • Mavericks

  • Yosemite

  • Working Internet

  • Vietnam Tool


Installation




  1. Install Clover with Mavericks on a USB, and yes, Mavericks, not Yosemite, because it wont boot the Yosemite installation.




  2. Install Mavericks




  3. Download & install Yosemite from the Mac App store




  4. Install These from Vietnam Tool:


    Clover



    Install Clover UEFI

    Kexts



    System FakeSMC v6 Graphics ACPIBacklight Sound VoodooHDA 2.8.6 Trackpad & Keyboard Synaptics Touchpad Fn Keyboard ASUS Drive AHCIPortInjector Trim Support USB 3.0 GenericUSBXHCI

    Fixes



    EnableNoATime

    Tools



    Clover Configurator


  5. Open Clover Configurator and open your config file




  6. Under the boot menu, enable kext-dev-mode=1




  7. Reboot and make sure everything is working!
