Hi! This will be my first Hackintosh, and I will use me 3 and a half year old PC for it. This is the list of my parts:
- Intel Core i5 2500k @3.3GHz
- Asus P8Z68-V LX motherboard
- 8GB DDR3 Ram
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 560Ti 1280MB
- Corsair Force 3 SSD 120GB
- OCZ-Vertex2 120GB
- Optiarc BD RW BD-5300S (Blu-ray drive)
Now, I am trying to follow this tutorial: http://www.tonymacx86.com/445-unibeast-install-os-x-yosemite-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html (I have Yosemite installed on a USB), but I have run on to some problems. Considering I have not BIOS but UEFI on a Asus motherboard (somewhat different than Gigabyte), I have read that things is a bit different. I tried to follow some guides, but did not succeed patching it (could not find right patch etc.). I am also wondering what to tick in MutliBeast at startup. Hopefully someone can help my overcome some of these problems.
