When I boot from the USB to install Yosemite the apple logo flashes and the computer restarts. Are my parts compatible? What can I do about it?

I have:

MSI B85M-P33 motherboard

Intel Core i7 - 4770K @ 3.5 GHz

MSI AMD Radeon HD 7770

2x4GB Crucial Ballistix RAM

Unfortunately Google has let me down... Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I know people are recommending Gigabyte or ASUS because other motherboards are not compatible but I have read somewhere about workarounds - flashing the BIOS specifically. Never done or heard about it before, and I have no idea what to search for. Is it even a safe thing to do?
