Hey,
So, this is a bit of a strange question, but I appreciate any help.
I have Hackintosh I use for work (OS X) and gaming (Win), running an EVGA GTX 780 SC. Everything works great, and I'm getting decent FPS in the games I'm currently playing.
However, I have decided to get my girlfriend a PC for a Festivus gift, and I am stuck with a choice.
I can upgrade to an EVGA GTX 980 SC (Free Assassin's Creed: Unity), and give her my GTX 780, or I can go with an EVGA GTX 760 and save a few bucks.
My needs are that I am looking to play current games like Batman: Arkham Knight at high detail as possible, with as much FPS as possible. My girlfriend, pretty much only plays Guild Wars 2, the occasional other game, and watches TV/Movies on her second monitor while gaming.
So, do you think it is worth me upgrading to the 980, and handing down the 780...or just keeping the 780, and getting her a 760 or so?
Thanks.
