I used to have a perfectly working ML installation. Then I moved to Yosemite. I booted perfectly with Chimera. But I decided I wanted to work iMessage so I switched to Clover. I tried migrating using many techniques but nothing worked so I re-installed Yosemite using the Clover installation guide.

Now, when I did so, I ran into a small issue: My previous resolution on ML of 1280x768 was reduced down to 800x600. So I asked the forums and thank goodness I discovered SwitchResX. I used it to run 1280x768 but now I'm having so much issues I regret ever using a hackintosh.

The following is the list of what I've had to endure for the past couple of weeks:

  • At least (and I've counted) 38 restarts a day. My computer either freezes from opening a *teensy bit graphics* intensive application like Preview or PS, if I'm patient it logs out on its own after 10 minutes of freezing, if I'm not I restart it at which point:

  • Kernel panic when I hard shutdown and it reboots 2 or 3 times before working. *Important to Note: When it finally restarts it says a "A graphics problem has caused this computer to shut down". *Side Note: That son of a bitch computer is lying, I shut him down ON PURPOSE BECAUSE HE IS DRIVING ME CRAZY

  • .avi's hanging and glitching. VLC not working. Quicktime is shit, even with .mp4's .

  • Computer can't convert movies using SmartConverter. "Conversion Error" (I WAS TRYING TO CONVERT A .MKV, WHICH DOESNT EVEN NEED CONVERTING!!")

  • .m4v file driving me crazy to get it to work. Freezes audio crackles, and at one point my computer "decided" to suspend my keyboard privileges. Not all the buttons too. Just the ones that count. Like all the letters. But thank goodness the eject shortcut button works because WHO THE FUCK EVEN NEEDS IT. I had to restart my computer just to type the address to this page because it decided to upgrade my punishment from "no input on OS X apps" to "no input on any app, even google chrome".

  • To add upon all of that, my audio has static when played from certain apps, I adjusted this appropriately from the VoodooHDA preference pane but it resets after I restart my computer.... but then everything is fine. Until I'm watching something really important....and all of a sudden I hear FUCKING STATIC again!!! My computer is messing with my mind

All these issues never happened before, Why is my computer punishing me?
