I had to call Apple today for about the 5th time in 5 months to reactivate iMessage (give a customer code etc). I do the usual method of giving my system definition as the model I have and the serial number, along with the customer code, but as I ring so frequently the support team seems to be catching on.


I'm currently saying that I 'turn over computers frequently' and use a third party bootloader (rEFIt, kinda true since Clover is based on it), but I'm wondering about other excuses/reasons to use and whether these are credible?


Any advice appreciated, I don't want my Apple ID blacklisted or anything. :/
