My recently built mackintosh (yosemite, clover v3012) used to put my hard drives to sleep when they weren't used with no issue. Now however it doesn't and they are spinning all the time. I'm not sure if it's some programme I've installed or something to do with the hackintosh setup. Is there a way to diagnose why they aren't going to sleep and what might be accessing them - i.e. preventing them from powering down?
