I just finished installing yosemite on my computer, and almost everything works except the audio. The ethernet is working too, but since I am at college, I need to install a profile to allow me to connect to the 802.11 network. Whenever I try to install it, it says it can't find the wifi for it. But I am not using wifi, I'm using a wired connection. If I try to use the "SecureW2 JoinNow" method, it doesn't do anything after it finishes. If I wanted to manually add the certificate and my login information, how can I do that? It seems the only way to do that is by using a ".mobileconfig" file. In windows, I was able to configure 802.11 manually pretty easily. Im not sure why it is locked down on mac. I know the ethernet works because I get an ip and I can connect to my colleges temporary page that lets me get the 802.11 information. I've also tried using iPhone configuration utility to create a .mobileconfig myself, but this doesn't work either because to have 802.11 security, I need to specify a wifi ssid.
