Hi I know it is a bad idea to have both AMD and Hackintosh in the same sentence but can't help but notice recently that devs have been making waves with development towards a compatible kernel for AMD FX hardware. I had gotten on a certain site a few days ago to notice that there is a distro available for Yosemite on Intel and AMD hardware (normally its only for Intel hardware only)

However all of the information is just scrambled everywhere, can anyone give me a run down of how well implementation has been on AMD hardware and its limitations, I know back in the day it was simply not possible to run on AMD hardware as it was missing some key instruction sets (I believe it still is) that were essential.

I'm usually always on the Intel side of things since it has been the better side since 2011 and hackintosh support was a cherry on the top for me when going Intel over AMD but I would just like to know as I have a few AMD systems here I am willing to try installing Yosemite on and working with.
