Hello. I created my yosemite 10.10 usb stick with unibeast, followed a guide and set my bios options how I've seen others do it, even someone with the same MB I'm using : GA-Z87x-OC and all I'm getting when I boot from the USB stick is a blinking cursor.. I kept trying changing some bios options and still nothing. I tried this a while ago on a different MB, an asus H81M and I had the same result, I gave up saying that even if I succed I'll get more difficulties on the long road, however, now that I have this MB I want to try. Did I miss anything?
So, I chose default bios settings and : - changed initial display output to igfx - set ram freq. to 1600 - made sure sata is on AHCI - intel virtualization is disabled - windows 8 features : other OS - boot mode UEFI and legacy - storage boot option: this is where I tried different ones, it was legacy only by default, I tried UEFI only and still nothing
Did I fail at creating the USB stick?.. I did it in the weekend, probably in a rush, I was at my brothers iMac and I might've skipped the partitioning part, tho I'm not sure.. it did succed with creating the stick without any issue.
Thanks for reading.
