Alright- working on my first Hackintosh build. I was hoping to go with the Intel i7-5820k so I could get 6 cores. Was first looking at the Asus X99-A ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard but then realized it had no Thunderbolt support, which I need. Looked at other boards which only seem to support the (ironically more expensive) quad-core 4770k, but I found the GA-X99-UD4 from Gigabyte, which seems to have thunderbolt support and can work with the 5820k... Does anyone know about compatibility for this mobo? Or suggestions on how I can achieve higher processor power with a thunderbolt-compatible motherboard?
