Firstly, I did not pay the prices listed here. I am in college and could not afford to blow 1300 dollars just like that. I got most of my parts from Microcenter, and I have an an employee discount there which took out a significant chunk of the price.

I don't have a discrete GPU because I do most of my gaming on my Playstation. I OC'd the processor to 4.5ghz, and it hovers around 28C during most casual use.
