When my hackintosh goes to the lock screen (eg it sits idle for like 15m then goes to it) i can press keys and my screen turns on, but then says it has no input source. If i type in my password and hit enter, the screen immediately gets a source and starts working, but I don't really know why the lock screen isn't outputing to my monitor.
Some background info:
- The normal login screen works when you boot the computer
- I have only 1 monitor hooked up.
- The monitor is hooked up via display port.
- Monitor is an ultrawide (3440x1440 res).
- Mobo is the ga-z97x-ud7 th
- Video card is an r9 290x
Any ideas on what I can try to resolve this? If you need more info let me know.
