All the guides I have found for dual booting seem to presume that you are doing it off of the same drive, and are based around partitions, etc.

For two separate drives, I'm wondering what I need to do to get a "clean" as pure as possible install of both systems, with an end result that boots into OSX automatically if I do nothing but has an option to divert the boot towards windows? Are there concerns with installing windows 7 in UEFI mode? etc.

Here's my build (got some parts here on the way in the mail ATM so I won't be starting in on it for a few days yet):

CPU

RAM

CPU Liquid Cooler

Motherboard

Case

PSU

Graphics Card

If I can get a stable Mac build working as described above, I wanted to add an external USB sound device with some studio monitor speakers, but I don't see how that would affect any potential build per the above (but I might be wrong?).
