I have a GA-Z87X-UD7-TH which has a Realtek ALC898 audio chip. My digital audio output only understands 2 channel output. When I go into the Audio MIDI Setup and try to configure speakers, the popup next to Multichannel is all grayed out except for Stereo.
Any ideas on how to get it to crank out 7.1, 5.1, etc.?
