I'm using a mavericks .iso I found on kickass.so because I don't have a real mac to make a boot disc. I also tried a yosemite installer (yosemite zone) but that would not even load past the point where there's a spinning ascii asterisk thing in the upper left hand corner.
When I run the mavericks installer in verbose mode -v it gets stuck on Bootcachecontrol: unable to open /var/db/bootcache.playlist not found. I have to reboot. I'm not sure what other flags I should be using if this happens.
Also, if anyone knows of a straight forward guide (possibly involving using a virtualbox to create the installer within OSX - I just tried running the installer in virtualbox, but it gets to loading the mach_kernel and then says 'drivers not found' and reboots) I would appreciate a link because I'm very lost. (I am reading the links in the sidebar)
Other info: this thinkpad t510 has Intel onboard graphics. Lenovo Model 4349WBZ.
