Hey all, about to build my first hackintosh and wanted some advice.
The final product I'd like to get is a dual-boot Windows/OSX machine, with separate SSDs for each.
I've already got Windows installed on one SSD.
I'd like to get the whole thing working with Clover if at all possible - cloning ROM/MLB IDs seem much easier with it than otherwise.
Is it possible to install OSX using Chimera, and then swap the bootloader out for Clover? This seems like it might be easier given the popularity of the Chimera tools vs. Clover.
i.e., Install OSX using Unibeast, mount EFI partition, install Clover to EFI partition, configure with ROM/MLB IDs and kexts, reboot.
Secondly, since my Windows install is on a separate drive entirely, how would I get dual-booting via Clover working? I'm assuming in my BIOS/EFI setup I set the OSX SSD as the boot drive (so Clover does the booting) - how would Clover realize there's a Windows install on a separate drive?
