While I have extensive experience building and configuring windows machines, I have limited and outdated knowledge with hackintosh's that starts and ends with an HP Mini 110 I did for shits and giggles a few years ago.
My lady is a mac user and is beginning to work with Maya, currently she is using my Windows PC [3570k@4.5GHz + GTX660Ti@1GHz with 3GB GDDR5]
but she would like her own computer that can handle it, and she would like that computer to either be a mac or run mac OS.
So I come to you, humble /r/hackintosh and ask for your help with a suggested partslist that will run Maya on Mac OS well.
