Here's the full story:

Hackintosh running Mountain Lion just fine, but never upgraded to Mavericks. Tried to go straight from ML to Yosemite using Multibeast. Worked fine at first, but no sound or ethernet. Installed correct driver for sound and used "all in one ethernet" solution for ethernet port. Everything works, but now computer won't come out of sleep. Try to run multibeast again, this time identifying my computer as an iMac 15,1 instead of as Mac Pro. Now every time I boot it starts normally right up until the gray screen with progress bar, then monitor goes totally black and shows "entering power save mode" and does nothing.

Tried running in verbose mode but got no errors, which makes me think the computer is booting normally but not communicating with screen. Safe mode does the same thing, screen never does anything. Tried booting from Unibeast 5 USB, still nothing. Can't restore from time machine backup (not really even sure how to anyway). I have no idea what to do at this point. Looking for help with:

  • Getting my screen to turn on so I can try running multibeast again with a fresh install of Yosemite

  • Downgrading back to Mountain Lion

  • Completely erasing the whole thing and starting over (I have time machine backups of all my files and my environment and everything).

Any help is so appreciated! Some details on my build: MB: Gigabyte ga-z77x-ud5h GRAPHICS: GeForce GTX 670 OS DISK: Samsung 850 SSD
