Ok. So basically I am a dumbass. My graphics card was lagging lately with videos and I was trying to play CSGO and it was so laggy it was unplayable. I didn't have this problem always, it only seemed to happen recently. Anyways. That is a different issue.
To solve my problem I tried to update my drivers using multibeast - blah blah blah, long story short, now that hard drive won't boot. It gets almost all the way to loading my desktop and then it is just a blue screen.
But the good news is that I have a separate HD that has windows on it, and I dl'ed some program that lets me write to the fucked up HD. I need to figure out how to put all the right kexts and whathave you in that HD from a separate system. Should I just find all the appropriate kexts and place them in manually? Will I be able to "repair permissions" and "verify cache" from my windows machine overwriting my snow Leopard HD? Also, what are the bare minimum files I need to run my system? I just need graphics, audio, and ethernet to work. If someone could help me that would be greatly appreciated.
Some Specs:
Snow Leopard 10.6.8
Gigabyte x58A-UD3R
Intel Core i7 950
8 GBytes DDR3 Memory (4x2)
NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT
Let me know if there's any other specs or whatnot I can tell you that will help. My system was running perfectly for years, I can't believe I messed it up. And yes, I'm going to backup my shit from now on...
Please help /r/Hackintosh, you are my only hope!!
