Hi there Reddit first time im actually posting but have been reading for a long time. I recently bought a pc off a friend and would like to hackintosh it I have a 27" iMac and its starting to show its age mainly due to the graphics card. I wanted to try and use this new PC as a replacement but wanted to see if it was possible from some more experienced "hackintoshers".
I understand the AMD can be a problem and I read the warning on the right side of the subreddit but here is my current build.
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 945 RAM: 16.00GB DDR3 Motherboard: FOXCONN 2AB1 GPU: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 (EVGA) Drive: 931GB Western Digital WDC WD10 01FAES-60Z2A0 SATA
I would like to dual boot it from the same disk if possible if not its not that big of a deal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated especially if you have a similar build and were successful with your hackintosh. Thanks in advance!
