I do a lot of video editing and motion graphics work and need a laptop. I'm debating on buying a used 17" 2011 Macbook Pro (i7 2.2GHz) and upgrading the ram to 16GB, putting in an SSD, and possibly replacing the optical drive with a hard drive and running a Raid 0 configuration. Has anyone out there already done this and can attest to the quality? Any trouble with creative cloud or replacing the parts or anything like that?
