Hey /r/hackintosh ! I've been more focused on my actual programming work, and haven't had much time to work on my setup lately. I spoiled myself a bit after a long month of work, and grabbed the Dell U2515H, a fantastic 1440p monitor.
Plug it in and everything works totally fine in Windows. Quite excited, I boot into OS X, and no matter what I do, it can only recognize 1 display at a time.
I'm running a GTX 970 with the most recent Nvid web drivers on 10.10.3 . My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z97mx (microATX version of the Gaming 5, great audio quality and decent overclocking, I love it), and my CPU's a 4790k. Both monitors are plugged in via DisplayPort (My other display is a G-Sync 1080p monitor, so it has to be display port). Whichever monitor is plugged in first works, and whatever is plugged in after will not be recognized.
Every post I've found includes many other issues I don't have, like resolution problems or boot issues. My only issue is that one display will NOT be recognized, no matter what I do. I have nothing that even resembles a clue as to what is causing this, and don't want to break my install debugging it when I need this machine for work. Has anyone had a similar issue, or know of a resource that could help me debug it?
