My budget is $1000-$1500CAD, right now my MacBook Pro has trouble running YouTube videos in 1080p/60fps (fan starts to go really loud and battery drops quickly), so I'm looking to make a Hackintosh that can easily do this, as well as some light photoshop stuff, twitch streaming, and I'm planning on getting Chromecast to use with it as well. I won't really be doing any gaming, except for the odd web-based game or something. I also use Spotify and iTunes, but other than that, nothing really that intensive.
Where do I begin? Is it hard for a beginner to do this? Should I just go with a custom PC build instead? Only reason I'm against that is because I've been using OS X my whole life, and have never owned a PC. I checked the wiki and it said nothing was there.
